a Member of the Administrative Support Staff
as Personal Assistant to the Consul General
in full time (41 hours)
Planning support, preparation and organization of events including implementation and invitation management
Planning support, preparation and organization of business trips and delegation trips
Appointment calendar and invitation management for the Head of Mission
Contacts with authorities and institutions
General secretarial duties
Maintaining of lists and directories
Competent handling of oral, written and electronic communication
Excellent oral and written knowledge of German (native level or at least comparable to C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference)
Very good oral and written knowledge of English (at least comparable to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference)
Knowledge of Urdu or an additional native language of Pakistan (Sindhi, Baloch, Pashto) (at least comparable to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference) is an advantage
Competent ability to use IT-applications (MS-Office, internet)
Disposition to organize appointments, events, and travel programmes
Flexibility, resilience, and ability to work in a team
Extensive training in all work areas is guaranteed.
The conditions of the employment contract shall be governed by Pakistani law. The remuneration is based on the remuneration scheme of the Consulate General in Karachi. Applicants without Pakistani nationality must have a secure residence status in Pakistan.
