These pages present information on numerous consular services. Whether you need a visa for Germany or are looking for information on German citizenship, customs regulations, marriage in Germany, notarization of documents, or numerous other consular matters, this site is a good place to start.
When visiting the consular/visa section of the German Embassy, Islamabad, you must take the Diplomatic Shuttle. The shuttle stop is located at Third Avenue near Quaid-e-Azam University Road, G-5 Islamabad. The Diplomatic Shuttle will transport you from the Diplomatic Shuttle Service Center to the consular/visa section for a 500 Rupee fee. A detailed map to the location of the shuttle service can be found.
ATTENTION: The German Embassy learnt about a scam at the entrance of the Diplomatic Enclave where so called agents near the shuttle bus service ask applicants to check their documents. They tell the applicants that their documents are incomplete, that copies of documents are missing or that the application forms are not filled out properly. The agents will ask applicants to pay horrendous prices to provide the missing copies or to complete the applicant form. DO NOT TRUST THESE AGENTS! The German Embassy is not related to these agents in any way. You are advised to ignore the agents and to go to the German Embassy directly. The staff at the premises of the German Embassy will inform you if your documents are complete or not.
Please note: The visa sections can only be reached during offical office hours !
