Visa: Fees, payment and waiting times
Processing times
Schengen visa applications are usually processed within around two weeks of handing in the application. Airport transit visa applications are processed in around three working days. Student and work visa applications take five to ten weeks depending on the category. The processing time of family reunion visa applications is on average six to twelve months.
Processing of visa applications can only begin once you have submitted all documents. If you experience long processing times, you have likely not submitted all relevant documents.
Visa Fees
Visa fees must be paid in PKR at the current exchange rate to Euro.

Payment
German Embassy Islamabad
Visa fees are paid through bank request. When submitting your application, you will receive a request slip. Please take the request to Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Diplomatic Enclave Branch only, and pay the visa fee. The bank will report your payment to the Embassy. A fee of PKR 350,- will be levied by the bank. Please note that on offical banking holidays you will be required to settle your application fee the following day.
The courier service for returning your passport will charge a fee of PKR 500,- , payable in cash on the spot.

Visa fees must be paid in cash at the counter.
Customs obligations when entering the European Union
All travellers entering or leaving the European Union with €10,000 or more in cash must declare the sum to Customs.
