You would like to do an au-pair in Germany? This page contains information for applications at the German Consulate-General Karachi.

At a glance, these are the main requirements you have to fulfill:
- You have a valid au-pair contract with a hosting family in Germany.
- Your hosting family is not of Pakistani origin and consistis of at least one child under the age of 18 years. You are not related to the family.
- You are between the age of 18 and 27 years old.
- You have never done an au-pair in Germany before.
- You have German language proficiency level A1 CEFR.
